Formula SAE/Student

Formula SAE is a constructing competition for students of engineering universitiesl. The competition was found in 1981. As the Formula Student it got to Europe in 1998. Both competitions have a same goal and almost same rules. There are tens of Formula SAE/Student events each year all over the world with more than 300 participating university teams.

Formula Student/SAE is a virtual construction task to engineer a racing car and to produce 1000 cars per year. The customer is a non-professional weekend racer of autocross or sprint. To meet the asks the car has to be either very well controlled, powerfull, have great brakes, be reliable and easy to service or be as comfortable as possible and look nice. The other main parameter is the price and so the car has to use as much production parts as possible.
